Historical Farm : When the old Herero settlement became a missionary station...the Otjisazu Guest Farm was established as a missionary in 1872 and is well known in Namibia. The historical background spans from the time of the German colony Southwest Africa founded in 1904 to the actual modern independent State of Namibia. Years ago, the 28 square kilometre farm served as a mission station for the Rheinische Mission and there is still a wall from the original church visible at the reception area. 

Today, the farmhouse is beautiful refurbished, stylish lodge with a well designed garden and rooms. The farm house and guest rooms are located midst the vast colourful garden.

Otjisazu offers comfortable rooms that are facing the lovely garden with diverse grasses, aloe vera's, cactuses, old trees and palm trees.All rooms are well equipped according to international standards. The interior is newly furnished: light and modern, with high ceilings, light grey tiled floors and traditional Namibian rosewood.The main building is made of open-plan areas and linked by wide arches. Huge windows look onto the front garden from the reception area. In the cosy lounge, comfortable sofas are surrounding a big open brick fireplace.

Private Game Drives :

Participate on safari game drives and guided walks on the land surrounding the farm, along the dry riverbeds before heading up the historic Signal Hill for a sundowner. We drive on an individual route to take into account your interest in the game and wildlife. We take the time to observe the game in their natural environment, pay attention to details and explain them to you. With a bit of luck you will see plenty animals on free range such as kudus, elands, sable antilopes, giraffes, oryx, impalas, springboks, hartebeests, bless bucks, duikers, steenbucks, waterbucks, warthogs, ostriches, jackals and a large variety of birds. If you are lucky, you also meet our lepards.
